Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 8, 2022

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Creative Black Tie Optional! “What does that mean?” you may ask. Basically it’s a fusion between creative black tie and black tie optional. Think formal attire that gives you the opportunity to express your personality. We challenge you to play with trendy prints, bold colors, and statement accessories. For Women: an evening gown, cocktail dress, or formal jumpsuit are all acceptable. Pick an interesting silhouette, bold texture, embellishments, or add a statement piece of jewelry. Dare to wear white and shame will be brought upon your family. For Men: Tuxedo or dark colored suit. To make it creative add a bold colored shirt, a patterned bowtie/pocket square, or a pair of velvet shoes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifies a plus one, we ask that you Han Solo to the wedding. The venue unfortunately has a maximum capacity and we have to stick within that number.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Be sure to arrive at the venue 10-15 minutes in advance.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

New Orleans is one of the most walkable cities we have ever visited. Each of the recommended hotels are located within a 15 min walk to the venue. If this seems too much Uber and Lyft are available.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Please refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony. We will have a photographer on hand and it will be unfortunate if the images he captures include guests perched behind there phones taking photos. Sit back, relax and let Stacy do his job. Anytime after the ceremony and throughout the evening feel free to take as many photos as you like. If you post to social media be sure to use our wedding hashtag: #JulianGotKiaraedAway
