One of the most magical places in the world. Oirase gorge flows from Towada Lake and there are so many waterfalls along the road/walking trail. Check out the visitor center downstream at the beginning of the road— they have really yummy soba noodles featuring wild foraged veggies.

A beautiful seaside landscape of luscious green hills and rocky coastlines. We’ve seen so many kinds of wildlife and plants at this park. It is also a part of the Michinoku Coastal Trail.
The water at this onsen will leave your skin feeling soft like a baby’s bum. It’s part of the resort but is open to the public for a fee. As of June 2026, they have started asking tattoos to be covered with stickers.
Towado-ko is a beautiful crater lake in the middle of Aomori Prefecture, we recommend kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on its glassy surface from Lake Park Utarube.
Where Kian proposed and where Ami’s grandparents used to come to recreate
A lovely horse park featuring 5 beautiful horses. Ami rode a Japanese Nambu horse named Orfre, Kian an Arabian named Kai, and Mai a Native American horse named Judy. All were very sweet and their human caretakers were too.
