This is an optional trip to a beautiful, ancient village, known for beautiful cobblestone streets, Molyvos castle at the top of the village, and fish taverns by the water. We will drop you off with enough time to wander the streets, sit down for dinner at one of the fish taverns, and watch the sunset over the water. Learn more about Molyvos in the "Things to Do" tab. Note: If you are attending both the excursion and the welcome event, you will be travelling directly to Agiasos from Molyvos. We recommend dressing in attire you are comfortable wearing into the night and bringing a light jacket or shawl for when the temperature cools.

Join us for an informal celebration in Agiasos the night before the wedding! We'll be meeting at a tavern for drinks, music, and light bites. Dress is casual and be sure to bring a light jacket or shawl because it can get chilly at night. We will plan for busses to return guests to Mytilene around midnight, however if you wish to leave earlier we can help arrange taxis.
Thursday, August 27 6:30 pm
Busses will pick guests up from hotels in Mytilene around 4:30pm to bring everyone to the village. From there, guests are invited to join the bride and groom in the traditions leading up to the ceremony, before meeting at the church. After the ceremony, busses will once again bring guests to Mytilene for the reception.
