Welcome Event at Ikones Suites

We booked our new Welcome Event venue at Ikones Suites along Rethymno Beach. Please bring electronic or paper versions of i) proof of vaccination, ii) proof of recent COVID, or iii) rapid-covid test from prior 24 hours. We highly recommend you take a taxi to and from the event, but for those looking to drive to our event, there is a nearby paid parking lot that can be seen on Google Maps. Once you arrive at the hotel lobby, the reception staff can direct you up the elevator to our event on the 3rd Floor roof terrace. Once on the roof terrace, follow the music over a small bridge on the left to reach our gathering. Please note that this is no longer a pool / beach event, so please dress accordingly. Cocktails and beverages will be served on the rooftop the entire time of our event. We will have a buffet dinner and finger foods served starting around 7 pm for the remainder of the night (fresh food will be brought out frequently).

We're excited to share an intimate meal the night before our wedding. This event's dress attire is dressy casual. Please arrive by 7 pm to be able to enjoy the sunset at 7:20 pm from our upper-level seating overlooking the ocean.

Shuttle To Wedding Venue

Two shuttle buses will be picking up guests at 5 convenient locations around the Rethymno area to bring you to the wedding ceremony. The 5 convenient locations will be selected as we get closer to the wedding date & know where all our guests are staying. Please note that transportation will also be provided at the end of the night to the same locations for guests to safely get home to their rooms.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will all be at the same venue; Agreco Farms. This event's dress attire is cocktail attire. Note the ceremony consists of dirt paths and cobble stones, so plan your footwear accordingly.

Farewell Brunch

Join us for one last meal together on Crete before leaving. Our brunch will be hosted at Minos Mare Hotel in the outdoor palm garden along the beach. This event's dress attire is casual. Note the brunch area will be on a grassy lawn adjacent to the beach, so plan your footwear accordingly. For reference getting around the hotel 's grounds, walk towards the beach and look for signs directing you to the "Poseidon Beach Restaurant;" the palm garden is adjacent to the restaurant.
