Do not rent your own car! Instead for a full days activity, hire a driver that will take you everywhere you need to go. The apps they use are Uber, Grab, GoJek. If you plan to be adventurous [at your own risk] and scooter around town, make sure you have your international license or cops like to aim at tourists to ticket. However, there are several areas of town that ban these apps; taxis are safe but make sure you settle on a price before getting in!
