Puerto Vallarta International Airport

Punta de Mita is about 45 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). There are flights from every major airport in the US. Passports are required for travel to Mexico. We highly recommend arranging private transportation from the Puerto Vallarta airport to the Conrad Hotel. You will be greeted at the airpot and taken to your destination in a private car with water and beers on hand. As for specific airlines, the choice is yours! We have flown Southwest to PVR without any issues but Delta, United and American all fly direct.

Transportation from Airport

We advise booking private transportation from PVR Airport to the Conrad ahead of time. The Conrad does offer airport transfers but is typically more expensive (you can book through the concierge). Uber is also available at the airport (details below on how to book) but you won't be able to Uber from Conrad to Airport. Taxis are another option available at the airport but they're more expensive than Uber so we'd recommend booking private transportation in this case. A few transfer companies we recommend: 1. Private cars can seat 2-20 people max depending on the reservation. Uber is the cheapest option - about $30 USD from the airport to the Conrad. Things to consider: Uber is not allowed to pick up in front of the airport. You'll have to walk about 5 mins over a pedestrian bridge to go to the pick up location. You won't be able to Uber from the Conrad back to the airport so you'll most likely need to book transportation to the airport.
