We are so excited to get to show off Whidbey Island to all of you! These are some of our favorite places to go when we come up here.

Our favorite hike on Whidbey and where we got engaged! About 30-40 minutes driving from the venue.

Ebey’s Landing Hike

We love chatting with the friendly owner of this tiny brewery. Megan’s choice is the white IPA. Pet and baby friendly! Bring your own food in if you like.

Double Bluff Brewing Company

Fun store in the middle of charming Langley. Pick up snacks, wine, souvenirs, etc!

Star Store Mercantile

Whidbey Island Distillery

While you’re there pick up a bag of beans to take home!

Mukilteo Coffee Roasters

Amazing sandwiches and pickles, of course! Our recommendation: take it to go and eat in the brewery.

Pickles Deli

Explore the art shops, get something to eat, or walk around the grounds (also an off leash dog park). Lots of trails going in and out of the surrounding woods—a favorite spot for a trail run!

Greenbank Farm

Meerkerk Gardens

Classic inn with a beautiful view, grounds, and restaurant. Further north than we would probably recommend staying (about 40 minutes from the venue) but a great spot for a nicer dinner or drink after hiking Ebey’s Landing.

Captain Whidbey

Located at the Mukilteo ferry terminal. We always stop here for dinner on our way home from the island or to grab a growler and/or share a quick pint if we have to wait for the ferry.

Diamond Knot Brewery & Alehouse

Quirky independent garden store and nursery. The little cafe opens daily at 8 is a perfect spot for breakfast.

Bayview Farm and Garden

A very cool (and easy) walk through the northwest forest with local art/sculptures throughout. Recommended for everyone but especially those with kids!

Price Sculpture Forest

Fun local brewery with a huge, super cool outdoor space. Kid and dog friendly!
