Question

Is there Uber/Lyft on Whidbey Island?

Answer

Unfortunately no. There are regular cabs and we will have the phone number posted where guests are leaving.

Can we leave our car overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue is ours until Sunday morning so feel free to leave a car if need be. Parking is plentiful.

Question

How long should we plan for travel from the Seattle area?

Answer

At least 2 hours. There is likely to be a ferry wait so build in extra time (the actual drive time is only a little over an hour). If it were me I would err on the side of too much time--there are lots of fun places to kill time on the island once you're there (see "Things To Do" for some ideas).

What is your recommendation for lodging?

Answer

We think AirBnB/VRBO is the best option for lodging. There are lots of fun places to rent on the island for decently priced (especially if split amongst a group!). For proximity to the venue look at the south end of the island--I would say no further north than Freeland unless you don't mind a bit of a drive at the end of the night (Langley/Clinton will be the closest).

What should I wear?

Answer

Think summer garden wedding. You can't go wrong! The ceremony will be on grass (we hope!) so keep that in mind in regards to footwear :)
