Some wineries to check out around Sonoma (no reservations needed, just stop by their tasting rooms): - Cline Cellars - Buena Vista Winery - Jacuzzi Vineyards - Larson Family Winery - St. Francis Winery
Some of our favorite wineries to visit are in this area, located about an hour north of Sonoma. A few of our favorites to check out: - Lambert Bridge - Limerick Lane - Trentadue - Quivera
We love visiting creameries in the area to pick up some cheese & bread to go with our wine. Check out the California Cheese Trail here: https://cheesetrail.org/trail-map/ Some of our favorites: - Cowgirl Creamery (in Point Reyes Station, about an hour away, a great stop to or from SF!) - Vella Cheese (right in Sonoma!) - Petaluma Creamery (20 minutes away from Sonoma, connected to a cute cafe)
For those interested in getting outside and earning their wine, this is a really friendly 2.5 - 3 mile trail with amazing views of Sonoma! It is connected to the Montini Open Space Preserve (https://overlookmontini.org/maps/) that has additional trails as well.
There's some great craft breweries in the area, check them out here: http://sonomaedb.org/storymaps/beermap/
The 'downtown' of Sonoma, a cute square surrounded by dining and shopping options.
