Flight
You’ll need to fly into Cancun International Airport (code: CUN). This is the closest Holbox airport that’s open to commercial flights.
Travel Note
Next, you'll have to take a shuttle to the port town of Chiquila. The road to get from the airport to Chiquila is about 87 miles (140 km). The Cancun to Chiquila drive will take two hours in normal traffic conditions.
Travel Note
$11 USD/$200 Pesos You get to Isla Holbox by taking a ferry in Chiquilá. It's run by the companies 9 hermanos and Holbox Express, same cost for both companies and runs daily at from 6am to 21:30 every half an hour. It takes about 25-30 minutes. After arriving on the island, there is a pretty large golf cart taxi stand that you can use to get to the hotel!
Travel Note
Right when you get off the ferry, you'll see a line of yellow gas-powered golf carts. These are your taxis! There are no cars on the island and the roads are all sand. Buckle up!
Hotel
This is the hotel where the wedding and reception will take place. We're excited that the entire hotel & pool has been blocked out for our wedding. We would love for you to book a room at the resort! Each room is for two people, the cost of the rooms range $330-$380/night. Reach out to Kevin or Alden for a full price list.
Hotel
There are a wide range of lodging options on the Island for all budgets. AirBnB and Tripadvisor are the best places to look for booking lodging. Luckily, due to the size of the island, everything on the island is within a short golf cart ride to the wedding venue.
