Eat eat eat!
Isla Holbox is 26 miles long, but only one mile wide and Centro/Playa Holbox is the place to find all of the best restaurants. This is also the heart of the island where you’ll find hotels, eateries, shops, and much more. Most places are easily walkable within Centro, located on the western end of the island.

Boat Tour of Three Islands
Take a boat tour to Passion Island, Isla Pajaros, and Yalahau Spring from Isla Holbox. On this guided excursion, view over 35 species of nesting birds on Isla Pajaros (Bird Island), including frigates and pelicans. Hear about the birds' migration patterns and breeding behaviors from your bird-loving local guide. Continue to Passion Island to see the resident flamingos, then swim in the cenote (freshwater sinkhole) at Yalahau.
Whale Shark and Snorkeling
Snorkel alongside docile whale sharks during this eco-adventure on Isla Holbox. With your local guides, board a boat and set off in search of these gentle giants, keeping a lookout for other species like giant manta rays and sea turtles as you cruise. Slip into the water in pairs with a knowledgeable guide and swim with the world's largest fish, which can grow up to 45 feet (14 meters) long. On the way back to shore, stop near Cabo Catoche to snorkel the 'cuevones' reef. Continue to Santa Paula to go swimming and enjoy freshly caught ceviche before returning to Holbox.

This is a great beach for learning how to kiteboard, you can take some kitesurfing lessons or courses in a kite school There are ideal conditions for beginners; shallow waters, no big obstacles on the wide and long beach. 1-3 Hours
Refugio Holbox Animal Sanctuary
You can volunteer to help with walking dogs, bathing dogs cleaning kennels, bowls, or the courtyard, playing with the dogs and loving them, or monthly voluntary work.
Cabo Catoche Tour
Cabo Catoche is about 43 kilometers east of Holbox and it’s the point where the Caribbean sea and the Gulf of Mexico meet. It`s the ideal place for fishing and snorkeling because of its lush marine life. 6 Hour Tour
