We are getting married!

We started as co-workers and if you asked us back then, we found each other annoying. Now we still find each other annoying but maybe a little less lol. We began as friends getting to know each other and then as the years go by we keep finding that we have so much more to learn about each other. Through our travels and our accomplishments and downfalls we've gotten to this point, and we believe were better together as one. Our union bring two different cultures, two different religions, two different backgrounds and fuses its vibrant colors, styles and attitudes into something no one has ever seen. This is more of a thank you for being there along the way through the highs and the lows. So when you ask how it started, I believe this is just the beginning and we'd love for you to join us in the celebration.

It was October 15 when we were going out for a dinner in the city. We ended up getting there a bit early and he said "we got time, wanna walk around for a bit"?? I said "sure" but we have to hurry up because I don't want to be late, if anyone knows me you know I don't like to be late, so reluctantly we began walking around central park. We made all these stops around the park getting lost several times along the way and even almost getting run over by cyclists. At this point it was getting hot and we were going to be late for the dinner that we had reservation so we were getting annoyed with each other and were getting hungry. I Kept asking "where are we going?!" then he told me relax he found this spot he saw on tik tok and to just "trust me it'll be worth it", we continued and finally we get to a path which lead to the little spot that was near the water by the bridge and with a familiar song playing in the background, what I saw next took my breath away. I saw a lookout with a bench decorated with candles, a carpet, a lamp and some flowers, but not just any items it was the exact ones from the movie "Aladdin" and the song playing in the background was "A whole new world". Right then I got excited and if anyone knows me, they know that's my favorite movie, it was so romantic, something out of the movie in real life, I couldn't believe it! Having forgotten all about Kenny I was gonna tell him "this is so cute this would be a perfect proposal", as the sun began to set the candles reflecting against the water soothing voice of Peabo Bryson singing a whole new world, without hesitation he took my hand and got on one knee and said "this is for you... wanna start a whole new world with me?" with tears in my eyes I knew there was just one answer and it was...YES!
