Answer

Please RSVP by June 15th.

Question

What should we wear for your wedding?

Answer

Formal cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit and tie in any color and women wear a below the knee length dress or a nice pantsuit. Have fun withit! Be colorful! If you have something in your closet that you've been dying to get out now is the time. We love to get dressed up and can't wait to see your outfits.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Northern Michigan is usually fairly hot and in the 80s. Although we can't predict the weather this far out, our ceremony will be held outside so please keep this in mind.

Question

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

We ask that guests be at the ceremony site at 4 pm and we will get started shortly after. The ceremony will be short and sweet and then we'll have everybody move down the street to our reception space where we will have cocktails before dinner at 6 pm and dancing after.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

Absolutely! Ross and Kennedy understand that there are lots of friends and family who will not be able to make it and we would love if you were still a part of the day. We will post a link and more information closer to the day.

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Alpena?

Answer

Alpena is a small town but has lots to do. Located on Lake Huron there are plenty of beaches and water based activities. Our downtown area has also really developed over the past few years. There are a few restaurants and bars as well as clothing shops and gift shops. Here is a great website and resource for more places and things to do in and around the area. www.visitalpena.com/
