This is a really neat, indoor, experience for all ages. Plan to spend a few hours. You walk along a set path from start to finish seeing all kinds of animal life.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
This is a fun, unique activity for all ages. Can easily spend a few hours taking it all in.
Cosm Dallas
This is a really cool indoor, open seating (VIP options are available) venue with TVs and gigantic screens everywhere. There are only two of these locations in the U.S. You can watch sporting events or they are showing a double feature "Orbital and Liquidverse" on 1/10 and Cirque de Soleil "O" on 1/11. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
If you are interested in the assassination of JFK, this is a must do. It is a narrative-type experience, so you hear the story and conspiracies about the historical event. The museum is inside. You can see the spot where Kennedy was shot from the building point of view.
Grandscape, The Colony, TX
This is a great area with lots to do, shopping, dining, go karts, rock climbing, etc. See the directory for options.

Cowboys, cattle drive, historic hotels, restaurants, and western-style shopping.
