The village of Punta de Mita has restaurants, shops, a market, a pharmacy, hotels, etc. Within the town there is also a gated community. Inside these gates there are homes, condos, 2 hotels, beach clubs (restaurants), and 2 golf courses. If you are staying inside the gates you can easily access the town with a golf cart. Please call Kenley or Lee if you need more clarity, we understand it can be confusing!
No, you do not have to stay inside the gate, but we strongly recommend it. Staying inside the gates will provide the best experience for you, including access to all the beach clubs and golf courses. Please notify Kenley or Lee if you are staying outside the gates.
The listing will mention if the private residence is inside the gates. If it doesn't, I would clarify with their staff before booking.
We have no additional COVID protocol other than what is enforced by the US & Mexican governments. Currently, there are no requirements for any travelers to/from USA.
Most accommodations have a very flexible cancellation policy. We recommend booking as early as possible, if something changes you can always cancel the reservation. Mexico is a very popular destination right now. Booking 12-6 months in advance is ideal.
Yes, kids of all ages are welcome to all of our wedding events.
It depends, if you are staying at the St. Regis or Four Seasons and do not plan to leave the hotel other than for the wedding events you probably do not need a golf cart. If you are staying at a private residence, with the intention of visiting the town, going to various beach clubs, etc, you will need a golf cart.
