Manny and I went here on our fourth date and it's where Manny proposed! This is considered an "easy" hike for the area (half-hour to hour to the top and back) but does include a lot of stairs. Tennis shoes are recommended. From the top of Sugarloaf, you can see Lake Superior coastline, Marquette, Hogback Mountain, and the Superior Dome!
This is a more advanced hike and one of Manny's favorites! This would be a great hike for the day before or the day after the wedding (it takes between three to six hours to get to the top and back). Tennis shoes or hiking shoes are recommended.
Presque Isle Park is a beautiful area in Marquette! Drive around the peninsula and stop at either Blackrocks or Sunset Point for pictures!
Looking for a craft pint before the ceremony begins? Ore Dock Brewing was where Manny and I went on our third date and where we celebrated our engagement. Try the Reclaimation IPA or Porter!
This craft brewery (not to be confused with the prehistoric rocks near Presque Isle) is where Manny and I "met" again in May 2015. The Honey Lav or Grand Rabbits are our favorites! This is also where Manny and I will be between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023!
This is for the littles (ages 6 months to 9yrs) who are part of the wedding ceremony. Fly a plane, pet turtles or slide down an intestinal tract!
If you're in the mood for karaoke, this bar can be fun! Warning - it can become crowded. You can either go to watch and have a drink, or sing some songs on the stage!
This park has a full wooden "castle" playground area. It's fun for kids and adults!
