We recommend Jose Ramos Transportation to get to and from Sayulita from the airport. Unless you plan to travel outside of Sayulita you should not need a rental car. We will help organize rides after people RSVP but you can also email them directly at marijoseramos@yahoo.com.mx with your: -Flight information (airline, flight number, arrival time) -Departure time -Number of passengers -Name of rental home or hotel in Sayulita (or Punta Mita)
We recommend reserving golf carts in advance of your trip from Pacific Golf Cart or Roys if you think you'll need one. One golf cart per house is probably more than enough.
Bring the whole family! There may be events where you will have more fun without having to watch after the kids, but we want everyone to be able to join us and enjoy their vacation! We can help arrange childcare on the property during the wedding reception if needed.
Your invitation specifies all the parties we hope to have in attendance. If you believe we’ve sent any invitations in error, let us know.
The weather in Sayulita in late April ranges from low 80s during the day to low 70s at night. This is a t-shirt and shorts kind of town. Wear flip-flops not heels, otherwise you might break your neck on the dirt and cobblestone roads. We want everyone to dress comfortably for all of the events. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on grass. The welcome party will be on the beach.
Villa del Oso on the north end of town from April 20 to 29.
We understand that not everyone will be able to join us for the entire week but even a weekend in Sayulita is well worth the travel.
If you like Mexican food you will love Sayulita. The street food is delicious and just when you think you have tried everything in town, Sayulita surprises you. The food options change depending on the time of day and there are plenty of dessert options as well!
Yes, Sayulita is a family-friendly, small village, where the locals welcome visitors. There are no traffic lights and there is only one main road that goes in and out of town. There are no travel advisories for Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. To avoid any theft, we recommend keeping your valuables locked in your accommodation's safe, just as you would when traveling anywhere else.
There have been a limited number of cases of zika in the state of Nayarit. We recommend that guests concerned about Zika consult with their doctor and refer to the CDC for the latest travel guidelines. The Mexico Tourism Board releases detailed maps of how many cases have been reported and where. If you are planning or trying to be pregnant at the time of our wedding, the idea of traveling to a country where Zika has been reported can be a scary one. The CDC recommends staying as informed and up-to-date as possible, and consulting your doctor about travel plans. We value the health and safety of our friends and family, and understand anyone's decision to forgo the trip out of precaution.
