*A note on COVID-19: When we scheduled this event in 2020, we could not even imagine the pandemic persisting for over two years. While we truly did not intend to host a wedding during the pandemic, we have accepted this reality and are committed to celebrating our love for each other and all of our loved ones on this day. Our event will be fully outdoors, both ceremony and reception, with the exception of restrooms which will require you to step inside a very short distance. PLEASE, if you do not feel safe traveling, we fully respect your decision and would love to hear from you if only to catch up! For those of you who are joining us, we ask from the bottom of our hearts that you come fully vaccinated, boosted according to your vaccination timeline, and if at all possible, PCR tested beforehand. Our greatest fear is causing anyone at this event to suffer from COVID. We will be monitoring CDC recommendations for an outdoor gathering and local conditions to update you accordingly.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The entire wedding will be outside so we recommend bringing a jacket for the evening. Historic temperatures for the end of May are high 80s, low 50s.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi formal and or garden attire (sun dresses and light weight dress shirts) feel free to wear what you already have. For brunch wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Are masks required?

Answer

As per guidelines in the state of California and Nevada County masks are not required for gatherings of this size outdoors. We encourage you to wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable and will be providing a number of disposable masks upon entrance.

Should I get a COVID test beforehand?

Answer

YES please if it is possible for you to do so we would like to have all attendees have a negative COVID test before attending the wedding. We will be providing a number of rapid tests before the wedding if you are not able to test beforehand please arrive 15 minutes early to do so.
