We recommend flying into Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport (GIG). Our wedding venue and hotel recommendations are located about 24-26 min from the airport (GIG). If you are traveling from the United States, we recommend laying over in the U.S. or São Paulo (GRU). Airports that fly direct to Rio (GIG) from the U.S. are: Miami (MIA), Atlanta (ATL), New York (JFK) and Houston (IAH).

We are providing shuttle services for the Boat Day and Wedding Day to and from the Marriott. October 17th - Boat Day All guests should meet at the Marriott at 13:15 to take the shuttle at 13:30. to take the shuttle to boat. Guests not staying at the Marriott should Uber Black to the Marriott to take the shuttle services. Shuttles will depart immediately following the boat. We encourage all guests to take shuttle services even if you are not staying at the Marriott. It will be very easy to Uber Black to and from the Marriott. October 19th - Wedding Day All guests should meet at the Marriott between 15:15-15:30 to take the shuttle to the ceremony. Guests not staying at the Marriott should Uber Black to the Marriott to take the shuttle services. Shuttles will depart after the reception at 22:30, 23:30 and 1:00. We encourage all guests to take shuttle services even if you are not staying at the Marriott. It will be very easy to Uber Black to and from the Marriott.

We recommend staying in one of three key areas: Leblon, Ipanema, or Copacabana. We recommend choosing accommodations on or near the beachfront blocks. Each neighborhood offers its own unique charm and atmosphere—Leblon is more upscale and quiet, Ipanema strikes a balance with a trendy, vibrant vibe, while Copacabana is lively and iconic, full of energy and history. Hotels or Airbnbs are great options!
