We love all the little ones in our lives, but our wedding and reception will be adults-only. If you’re traveling with kids, please reach out to us for childcare options on the wedding day.
Please let us know if you can join us by Sunday, August 10th. You can RSVP right here on our website under the RSVP tab—no mailing required! If you would like to attend the optional events leading up to the wedding, please RSVP on the RSVP tab as well.
We’re keeping the celebration intimate and limited to those listed on the invitation.
If we haven’t heard from you by August 10th, we’ll assume you won’t be able to attend. While we’ll miss you, we have to give our final guest count to the venue on time and won’t be able to accommodate late RSVPs.
Weather permitting, our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be outside! Dancing and drinks to follow inside.
Since October is springtime in Brazil, you can expect warm and comfortable weather—typically mid to high 70s/80s during the day and low 70s in the evening. Perfect for celebrating!
We’re so glad you asked! We’ll be serving a mix of traditional Brazilian dishes along with some of our favorite bites. Come hungry! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.
We’re keeping the ceremony unplugged so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Don’t worry—we’ll have professional photographers and a videographer capturing everything, and we can’t wait to share the memories with you!
We love the relaxed vacation vibe—but for the wedding, we’re asking guests to wear cocktail attire. Check out the attire page for more details and inspiration!
We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white dresses or anything that could be mistaken for white. We want to make sure the bride stands out on her special day — thank you for understanding!
This section will answer questions on traveling to Rio and what to expect.
If you’re traveling from the U.S., you’ll need: • A valid passport (make sure it doesn’t expire within 6 months of your return) • An e-Visa, which you can apply for online (no embassy visit needed!) The e-Visa is valid for up to 5 years, allows multiple entries, and covers stays up to 90 days. It typically takes 2–3 weeks to process, so be sure to apply early! When you apply online, you only need to fill out the mandatory fields. Apply here: brazil.vfsevisa.com
Rio is a stunning, vibrant city full of life, history, and natural beauty. We highly recommend exploring! Top spots and areas we recommend exploring include Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon (south zone). The weather is warm year-round, so pack your swimsuits, sunglasses, and summer outfits! As with any big city, it’s smart to stay aware of your surroundings, avoid wearing expensive jewelry/clothing, designer bags, and keep your belongings close or at home. Uber Blacks are the best and most convenient for getting around. And of course—if you ever have a question, feel free to reach out!
Rio is very Uber-friendly, and we’ll be providing shuttles after planned events for your convenience. When using Uber, we highly recommend selecting Uber Black — it’s the most reliable option and generally what we’d consider the standard choice. Regular UberX cars in Brazil may be a bit on the older side/manual and sometimes not have AC, so Uber Black tends to offer a more comfortable experience around the city.
Portuguese is the official language. While some locals speak English (especially in tourist areas), many don’t. We recommend downloading Google Translate for ease.
Check with your carrier about international coverage. An international plan is helpful for using Uber or navigating the city without Wi-Fi. Also, download WhatsApp—it’s widely used in Brazil and what we will use for mass communication.
Yes. Brazil uses Type N outlets. Some places may have modern plugs, but we recommend bringing a power plug adapter just in case.
