Matron of Honor
If Kelly had a sister, it would be Christine. They grew up several houses down from each other and have been besties ever since the second grade. Christine and Kelly even have a secret language they can still speak fluently. Kybellibee ibis hibappibee tiboo hibave Chribistibine ibas hiber MOH. Betcha can't decipher that one. They pretty much did everything imaginable together and have memories to last three lifetimes. They will likely live together in a mansion upon retirement with three tigers, nineteen dogs, and a cellar full of wine as originally planned. They have not figured out where their husbands will go quite yet but Danny Jr. and Colton can stay in the mansion with us.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Kelly met in grade school playing rec soccer while Kelly's mom coached the team. The friendship between the two and the entire high school girl gang continued strong all through the years and beyond and even withstood Laura's being taped to the cafeteria wall for two class periods during a Spirit Week class challenge. She forgave us, somehow. Laura is a drop-anything-for-you kind of friend and Kelly and Laura shared countless memories together, including making weird home videos that we hope are now buried in a dark place never to re-surface #embarrassingaf. Laura now lives in Jersey (back to our roots) with her cute little family and her extended familia, like any large functioning Italian family should.
Bridesmaid
Kelly and Allison grew very close in high school, but were friendly before that and definitely knew of each other after the crowning of the Middle School valedictorians. Middle school spawned a bit of a rivalry both of them having won valedictorian for each of their school "teams." We know, super nerd status. Anyway, as time would tell, the bond they shared only grew and lasted even longer than their puka shell friendship necklaces. Allison is always the responsible friend in the group, and Kelly always admired her strength and strong will. Allison now resides in Mass with her growing, literally her child will likely hit the 97th percentile for height, and now a second added to the mix.
Bridesmaid
Janna is Kelly's sister in law-to-be. Kelly is super excited to finally acquire a sister as she's never had one before. You can't mention Janna without also introducing her adorable 4 year old, Brayden, who will serve as our very handsome and distinguished ring bearer, a spitting image of his father, and followed in tow by her second child, equally joy-provoking. We can't wait!
Bridesmaid
Katherine and Kelly also go way back - back to grade school and the same rec soccer team all of our hometown friends were on. When Katherine has entered the room, you will know she has entered the room. She claims Kelly stole her high school boyfriend (Kelly was not aware) but thankfully, she managed to get past all of that and Kelly and Katherine remain as tight as can be where they now live in Arlington/DC. We all think Katherine would make for some very entertaining and fun Bachelor material, but even if she's never casted on the show officially, she manages to drum up some pretty entertaining dating stories all on her own.
Bridesmaid
If you want to know why her nickname is "G," you can ask her to elaborate as long as you're not someone's grandmother. Kelly met G shortly after moving to DC 10+ years ago. G is the token Asian of the girl gang and you'll never guess her age because as she accurately posits "Asian don't raisin'." G is the friend that makes you get up at 6 AM for a HIIT workout after four hours of sleep and will chat your ear off on the way over while you sit there dying of caffeine deprivation wanting to jump out of the car window. She's also the friend you call when you need a getaway driver--not saying that we actually needed one ever (wink wink).
Bridesmaid
Jenny and Kelly met in DC thru a mutual friend 10+ years ago and spent many a night out on the town together in our early twenties, so much so that if husband Marshall saw blonde hair on their living room couch, he'd greet Kelly (already assuming it was her) with a glass of water and breakfast pizza. Jenny and Kelly especially like joy rides to the winery when they can blast Taylor Swift songs at ample volume. Jenny also has an adorable 4 year old at home, and Kelly holds the whole family of three very near and dear to her heart.
Bridesmaid
Christine and Kelly met at JMU - go dukes!! - where they studied abroad together in Belgium for part of the summer. They were assigned roommates but luckily, hit it off right away, bonding over white wine, Kriek cherry beer, and adventuring while abroad. Christine moved to NYC after college where she still lives with her husband and fur babies and continues to hassle Kelly to move there one day. Kelly and Christine don't get to see each other as much as they'd like except for the occasional girls trips.
Bridesmaid
I could just say see above :) because Amy and Kelly's meet cute is the same as Christine's. I think Christine and Kelly quickly realized that they weren't meant to be a mere duo, so when they met Amy on the study abroad trip, she was the extrovert two introverts desperately needed. From then on, they were the "Belgies" and everything else was a blur. Literally. Amy also has a penchant for all things fitness and also mashed potatoes somehow at the same time. Amy resides in NYC and Kelly misses Amy all the time but is thankful that we seem to pick right back up where we left off whenever we do get together.
Bridesmaid
Jessika and Kelly met in law school. Kelly resisted any form of law school friendship at first having an I-don't-need-any-more-friends, lived-here-for-years attitude but Jessika enthusiastically offered to work on a 1L assignment together and it was all history from there. Jessika and Kelly believe that if there was a "Legally Blonde" spin-off, they would be the stars. Jessika moved back to the farm after law school but Kelly's holding out hope for her return would pay off. When she moved back, they were reunited as neighbors in Arlington where she continues to willingly drink natty light on a regular basis, and John only encourages this behavior. Someone tell Jessika we aren't serving natty light at the wedding.
Best Man
Justin thought we were holding our wedding at La Forge, a land-locked venue after telling him he could pull up his boat at a slip in front of the venue and he's been known to incorrectly book his travel. Ronnie says, "this is why I need two best men" and Kelly says, this is why "he needs a woman, thank god for Alyssa and her endless source of patience and attention to detail." A man with more hobbies than there are hours in a day, Justin knows how to get the most out of life.
Best Man
Aka "Senator Pearson," Ryan is co-bestman with Justin. While Justin’s still figuring out where to park his boat on the pavement, Ryan will be putting the finishing touches on their speech. Ryan really is a RI Senator so make sure you #votepearson2022. Making RI roads safer one highway bill at a time, Ryan will forever be the token responsible member of their friend group. He's first in command of Ronnie's diabetes management on the bachelor party and definitely scoping out the nicest digs on the Vegas strip. You can catch Ryan out on the water year-long as he holds onto the dwindling warmer months on his new boat, Knot in Session.
Groomsman
Ameth's name means "truth" in arabic. Ameth is not arabic. Ameth has found a kind soul with a good head on her shoulders in Marcela. She has yet to agree to purchase him a vehicle. This is a good sign. Ameth used to ride bikes really well and Ronnie formally calls him out for a stunt-off especially now that he's a father. Ronnie doesn't want him to lose sight of his athleticism.
Groomsman
If Steve disappears for the entire winter season, we know where to find him. Playing King O the Mountain at Waterville Valley with his co-pilot, Sarah. Steve is also one of Ronnie's band "Starting over Tuesday"s biggest supporters - you can find him front row center at any one of their reunion tours. He is lover of all things beer aka "bears," Sarah, Lila, and his fur friends.
Groomsman
AKA "the Transporter" is also front row and center of Ronnie's SOT shows and also in life. He usually IS the party, and with a laugh so loud he could register a 9.9 on the Richter scale, Kevin physically does not have an inside voice and neither does Brittany- so it's safe to say, he's met his perfect match. Ronnie can always count on him as the number one SOT groupie, Brittany ringing in as a close second. His knowledge of SOT lyrics is unmatched - could definitely be a stand-in band member one day if necessary.
Groomsman
Scott is Ronnie's future brother-in-law. Scott approves of Ronnie stating he is the only one of Kelly's boyfriends that he ever liked. We'll take it. Kelly loves that Scott and Ronnie get along so well, already having braved weekend trips together.
Groomsman
Darren and Ronnie go way back to working at Auto Zone together and now he leads a life of mystery in Southie. We never know what he's up to or where he is or what he's doing, but whenever he's around, he's always having a great time. The latest and greatest is a pending move to Charleston SC!
Groomsman
Shane was Ronnie's first friend when he left Catholic school britches and suspenders at home and traded them for public school riff raff. Shane knows how to make Ronnie laugh like no other, his only weapons being deadpan delivery and a kind of sarcasm that takes a sharp left turn. There's no one else Ronnie would have eaten an Arubian scorpion for. Our signature now resides directly next to Shane and his long-term girl friend, Lindsay's.
Groomsman
Aka “Mustafa the Hut,” always down for a The Used jam sesh. Garrett and Ronnie date back to middle school days, when they played for the infamous Cumberland Colts, winning the football state championship that year. Ronnie can still hear the sweet sweet sound of nelly blasting from Garrett’s vw rollin up to the high school lot, wondering when the next fast and furious meetup was taking place. Hey, must be the money! His newest pride and joy is his wildly handsome son, a spitting image of himself. We are just thankful he now has Jess to keep him in line (somewhat).
