Atlanta is not well known for public transportation. However, coming from the airport to the downtown area is a viable option for our wedding weekend. Parking downtown can be expensive so you can save the expense of a car and use our limited public transportation in combination with rideshare.

Hyatt Regency

The Hyatt Regency is connected to the MARTA train system. Take any train north from the airport to the Peachtree Center station. Follow signs for Peachtree Center then signs for the Hyatt Regency. (p.s. the bar closes at 2am!) The group rate is $139/night for a standard double - Available until August 2nd.

Hilton

The hotel is connected to the Peachtree Center MARTA stop. From the airport, take any of the MARTA trains going north and get off the MARTA and follow signs for Peachtree Center, then Marriott and walk through the Marriott to the skywalk to the Hilton. Travel Note

Uber/ Lyft

Uber and Lyft are by far the easiest ways to get around Atlanta. Even if you live in the suburbs and drive in for the day, why worry about parking. Relax and have someone else drive you around! There are public transportation stops walking distance from most of the festivity locations.

If you prefer not to stay in a hotel, Atlanta has a ton of offerings for AirBNB's in the area. I would recommend looking at Midtown, Old Forth Ward and Inman Park. Downtown is where the wedding festivities will take place however, it is not a very residential downtown. (zip codes: Midtown: 30308, Old Forth Ward: 30312, Inman Park: 30307, Downtown: 30303)
