FAQs

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Transportation will be provided from the church to the reception and from the reception to the Hyatt Regency. There will be enough seats for all guests so we encourage the local guests to Uber/Rideshare/Marta to the Church then rideshare home. This way you can enjoy the night and not worry about driving. There will not be transportation from the hotels to the ceremony since they are next door to the church. There is free parking at the church but paid parking at the reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There is parking at the church. The church has a paid parking lot behind the church which can be validated in the church. Please bring your parking ticket with you to the ceremony to have validated at the machine next to the front doors.

Question

Is there parking at the reception

Answer

There is a paid parking lot next to the Georgia Freight Depot that you are welcome to use. The address is 33 Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW, Atlanta GA 30334 We encourage you to leverage Uber/ Lyft if you are local and take advantage of the transportation provided so you can enjoy the party!

Question

What address should be used for Uber/Lyft at the reception?

Answer

Use 55 Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW, Atlanta GA 30334 for rideshare address. This is the roundabout drop-off area mere steps from the front door that the buses will be using.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony will be in a Catholic Church so please dress tastefully however, there are no rules about covering head and shoulders like other religious buildings have. For the party, we suggest cocktail dresses for women and suit for men. All of the events will be inside with air-conditioning but there will be opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during the reception.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 26 to give us time to finalize the planning details to ensure everyone has a fabulous time! Don't forget to book a hotel too if you're planning on staying in the room-blocks!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have a plated pre-selected menu with a few options for everyone. If you have a specific food allergy, please let Justin or Kristin know so we can help you have a safe and enjoyable time. If you have dietary preferences, you may let us know however, we may be limited on how many dietary preferences we can accommodate.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You will receive an RSVP card with your invitation. You may fill that out and return it in the stamped envelope provided in the invitation envelope. As an alternate, you may go to the RSVP tab on our wedding website to RSVP, select meals and provide some helpful information for the bride and groom. On the website, you will see a list of all of the events you are invited to.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! We wish we could include all children, but are unfortunately only able to invite immediate family.

Question

May I bring a date?

Answer

We love our family and friends and are honored to have so many loved ones supporting us as we embark on our journey together as a married couple. Unfortunately, we had to be selective and hope you will be able to enjoy yourself with the other guests who are invited. Your invitations will be addressed to the intended guests for the wedding.
