Things To Do

We could wax poetic for days about how many cool things there are to do in Baltimore, but here are a few of our favorite date spots, regular haunts, and hidden gems. This is just the start of our list, so don't hesitate to ask us for more recommendations- especially for food! Please note: our wedding is the same weekend as the Baltimore Running Festival, so expect some road closures between Friday night and Saturday morning. It won't be impossible to get around, but it may take a little bit longer than usual.

Baltimore Running Festival

Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD

Oops, we scheduled our wedding for the same weekend as the Baltimore Running Festival, so you might as well participate! If running isn't your thing, check out the route map for places to spectate.

32nd Street Farmers Market

400 East 32nd Street, Baltimore, MD 21218

A favorite Saturday morning spot for us! If you're willing to brave the line, Blacksauce Kitchen makes the best breakfast in Baltimore.

Lake Roland Park

1000 Lakeside Drive, Baltimore, MD 21210

Our first date spot and where we got engaged! If you're staying downtown or in Mt. Vernon, take the light rail to Falls Road and spend some time outdoors.

The Avenue (Hampden)

West 36th Street, Baltimore, MD 21211

Mosey from Falls Road to Chestnut for antique stores, boutiques, coffee, beer, and of course, ice cream! Kelly's favorites are Doubledutch and Modern World, and Max's are Craig Flinner Gallery and Bluebird Cocktail room.

Washington Monument

699 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

Climb all 227 steps to the top of the monument for a great view of Baltimore!
