Maid of Honor
Meet Julia: the mastermind who set Kelly and Jon up, proving she’s basically the reason there’s a wedding at all. Fated longtime Salve roommates, Julia and Kelly have always been perfectly in sync — the kind of duo who finish each other’s sentences, spreadsheets and shopping lists. Julia is the behind-the-scenes orchestrator ensuring this wedding (and all its creative details) takes off without a hitch. If Kelly and Jon are the jet-setters soaring through the clouds, Julia’s in the tower running air traffic control.
Best Man
Andrew and Jon grew up just five houses apart on Windsong, and after 26 years of friendship, they’ve got enough memories to fill a highlight reel. One of their favorites? Their iconic secret handshake—complete with its own background soundtrack, a melodic symphony of "booms" "chickas" and "bows." This marks Andrew’s first time in a wedding party (and as Best Man, no less - what an overachiever), but if lifelong loyalty and inside jokes are the qualifications, he’s been in training for decades.
Bridesmaid
Courtney met Kelly through Maid of Honor Julia when they were all attending Salve. They became fast friends over their shared love of gossip, shopping, and cocktails. Courtney could always be counted on for a last-minute, late-night outing. At the wedding, she fully intends to be the first one on the dance floor - and the last one to leave it.
Best Man
Joe has known the groom since… well, the exact moment he made his grand entrance into the world as Jon's “favorite [and not so little] brother." Though they’re complete opposites in almost every way, they’d still drop anything for each other. With 5,880 miles and a four-inch height difference between them, Joe would still show up for a baseball game, and Jon would attend the theater to watch Joe perform. As the professional dancer of the wedding party, Joe’s goals for the occasion are simple: drag people onto the dance floor, make K.A.T. feel like a princess on her wedding day (and every day thereafter), and happily add “favorite brother-in-law” to his list of titles.
Bridesmaid
Steph first met Jon freshman year when they lived in the same dorm at Salve, but it wasn’t until senior year in Mr. Sacco’s class that she met Kelly and they instantly clicked. They bonded over their shared love of yapping and going out in Newport, where Steph lovingly roasted Kelly for her signature Malibu and Sprite (and the inevitable hangovers). Though she now tries to lure them up to Boston whenever possible, any excuse for a Newport reunion is still a yes—and nothing will ever top their unforgettable trip to Italy, where Jon was the honorary third wheel to Steph and Kelly. At the wedding, you can count on Steph to bring equal parts peer pressure, hype, and a portable fan for the hot blooded bride.
Groomsman
Tyler says he has known Jon for "what feels like forever." Their friendship started on the baseball fields of Cumberland, where they played on the same team for more than 20 years. After countless road trips, workouts, and games, they built a bond that’s unshakable both on and off the field. Tyler also takes credit for sealing the deal with Jon and Kelly’s love story. It was Tyler's cat Dillon, that lured cat-loving Kelly to Jon and Tyler's place after their first date. Kelly officially proved she could hang the night Dillon threw up right outside their door… and she cleaned up the mess herself.
Bridesmaid
Drielle first met Kelly and Jon in 2022 when they visited her and her boyfriend (and Best Man) Andrew in Memphis. Their friendship began the moment she picked them up from the airport and introduced them to “breakfast shots” — which they happily obliged. These days, Kelly has her own room at Andrew and Drielle’s house, so it’s safe to say the bond is permanent. Her official wedding role? Making sure Andrew and Tyler don’t have to walk down the aisle holding hands. As the group’s in-house nurse, she’s also your go-to for any life-saving measures — but ideally, no one needs them, because she'd like to be off the clock for the festivities!
Groomsman
Dylan and Jon first met playing baseball when they were 10, teammates on the mighty Cumberland American All-Stars. Their friendship carried on through Salve, where their freshman-year RA once threatened to write Jon up if he pantsed himself again — a legendary moment in their shared history. As a groomsman, Dylan’s on deck to keep the dance floor packed all night. He also sent in two albums for this website assignment: one of embarrassing college photos and another of rap songs they wrote freshman year — 20 seconds of listening proved those tracks are better left unreleased.
Groomsman
Josh met Jon during their freshman year on the Salve baseball team, and the two have been close ever since. Despite Salve being small enough to practically trip over the same people every day, Josh somehow never crossed paths with Kelly until she and Jon started dating years later - proof that the world truly works in mysterious ways. Today, Josh and Jon both work in law enforcement, a bond that has only strengthened their friendship. With two children under the age of two, Josh is currently powered by coffee and controlled chaos, but there was never a chance he’d miss standing by Jon’s side. He’s proud to stand by his side as one of the groomsmen.
