Old San Juan
This national historic landmark district is know for its vibrant colors, rich cultural buildings, structures, statues, and art. Some of these include La Fortaleza, El Morro, Govenors mansion, and Cristóbal castles. You can also just wander the cobble stone streets taking in the essence and colors of the city. Our favorite places to eat are La Bombonera for breakfast and La Taberna Lúpulo for beer garden, burgers, and fresh potato chips.
El Yunque Rainforest
Puerto Rico's lush rainforest is full of hiking, waterfalls, lots of rain and greenery. Please note this is a more advanced hike as it will require sturdy ankles, careful planning, shoes made for mud, and a reservation. You can book tours via trip advisor.
Cabo Rojo
Hander's beautiful heart and soul are from here! Besides Hander's Mom and Auntie's home, other places we hold sacredly in our hearts are Faro Los Morrillos, the salt flats, Playa Sucia, and the Boquerón.
Rincón-the road to happiness
Beautiful beaches for surfing, snorkeling, fresh smoothies, bare foot beach yoga, beach front bars, laid back vibes, and the coolest Art walk. One of our favorite bus stops Route 413 "the road to happiness" and favorite brunch spots--The English Rose Restaurant and Tamboo sea side bar.
Aguadilla + Isabela
All our wedding festivities will be here in this town known for adventuring! From surfing, snorkeling and lounging--Montones beach, hiking--Gujataca, horseback riding--tropical trail rides, waterfall jumping in Gozalandia--San Sebastian, photography museum there is so much to see and do!
