Our Story
A few months had passed since Stuart moved to CA and Kelly had settled in to her new job when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the US. With more time on their hands, Stuart and Kelly took their work text conversations to their personal phones. Hours of text messaging, led to hours long phone calls until they officially became a couple in May of 2020.
Since then, they have been on many adventures together and can't wait to celebrate the beginning of their greatest adventure in October with you!

June 2020: Our first picture together! Taken on Belle Isle during Stuart's first trip back to MI after we started dating.
August 2020: Our long distance relationship led to many visits and several vacations together along the way. This picture was taken at Sequoia National Park on Kelly's first trip to visit Stuart in CA.
December 2020: A Trip to Monterey Bay, CA to celebrate Stuart's 29th birthday
January 2020: A week long trip in Utah visiting all 5 national parks. Some beautiful hiking, great memories, the beautiful red rocks mixed with the white snow, it is one of our most unforgettable trips!
March 2021: Our first island getaway on Maui in Hawaii!
April 2021: Our last trip before we finally were no longer in a long distance relationship! We celebrated by getting out to Yosemite before Stuart moved back to Michigan!
September 2021: A quick long weekend getaway to Maine! Kelly was excited to visit Seal Harbor but upon arriving we quickly learned there were no seals. 0/5 Yelp review.
Walking to downtown Plymouth and enjoying some snacks in Kellogg Park. One of our favorite weekend activities!
November 2021: Scuba diving in Aruba! One of our favorite activities to do together.
May 2022: An Island adventure to St. Lucia! Here we are hiking to the top of Gros Piton. A once in a lifetime adventure as we won’t be doing that again! We love a good hike but this one was exhausting!
Mountain biking, one of Stuart's favorite things to do! Kelly is slowly catching on and enjoying the date night rides.
October 2022: Rain, shine or snow doesn't stop us. Another national park, Olympic in Washington this time. We rented a convertible Mustang for this trip, but the freezing temperatures forced us to keep the top on.
Cheering on the Red Wings (good or bad). One of our favorite go to date nights! And thankfully Stuart is a hockey know it all to make sure we always have the best seats!
December 2022: A surprise birthday trip to Sedona for Stuart! We made it all the way to the airport before he figured out where we were heading. Hiking, biking and some great Mexican food!
Mini golf, a constant competition in our relationship. Stuart is the self proclaimed hole in one king but the score is always neck in neck!
February 2023: Our favorite trip yet! Stuart popped the question at the halfway point of our 10 mile hike. Right under the Hanakapiai Falls in Kauai!
March 2023: We spent the rest of our trip in Kauai celebrating our engagement including a photo shoot at Hanalei bay!
