Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking at St Kenneth Catholic Church for the ceremony. At the Royal Oak Farmers Market for the reception, the west side parking lot is reserved for our event! The west side entrance is also the only entrance into the building that will be opened during the reception. If the west side lot is full when you arrive, neighboring city hall parking located to the south of the building can also be utilized at no charge.

Any Hotel Suggestions?

See our travel tab for hotel recommendations in Royal Oak. We have room block discounts available at 2 local hotels. Both hotels are within walking distance to the reception and include breakfast. Royal Oak is a very walkable city for those staying in the hotels.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, there is a 17 mile drive between the ceremony location and the reception location. The ceremony will take place at St Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth, and the reception is at the Royal Oak Farmers Market in Royal Oak. There are a few different routes you can take to get from the ceremony to the reception. Due to construction and rush hour traffic the best way will vary. We suggest using your favorite navigation app on the day of the wedding to find the best route.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! If your invitation was addressed to your family you are more than welcome to bring the whole family! However, if you would prefer to use our wedding as a night out than leave the little ones at home. Whatever works best for you!
