Technically, yes, we had a very small and simple pandemic wedding on 10/10/2020. That's why on 10/16/2021 our focus will be on celebrating our one year of marriage, with a big party with the family members and friends the pandemic prevented us from seeing!
The safety of our family and friends is our top priority. We highly encourage all of our guests to receive the COVID vaccine, to follow airline policies regarding masking, and to bring a mask to wear during our ceremony and reception.
The venue requires masks, but they can be down while eating, drinking or posing for photos!
No, your attendance is the best gift to us! On our registry page, we have a list of charities for causes we find important!
Our wedding ceremony is taking place in the Como Conservatory's beautiful Sunken Garden. Those with allergies to pollen should be aware we will be surrounded by flowering plants. Also, because the Sunken Garden is a smaller setting, due to fire safety requirements, only 90 standing people can be in the Garden at a time. There is no seating. However, please contact us if you have any special health considerations that prohibit standing for more than 30 minutes. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes!
Though the reception is in the same building, it is in a different hallway with conventional tables/seating!
If you would like to, we would be glad to welcome your little ones! Please be aware that small children will need to be carried or held during the Sunken Garden ceremony. There will be no room for strollers or carriers.
