How to get there and where to stay

Flight

Montreal Trudeau International Airport

If you are flying in, Trudeau International Airport is the closest airport to the venue. You will still need to rent a car as the Eastern Townships is about an hour and a half East of Montreal. Highly recommend that you rent from one of the car rental agencies in Downtown Montreal to avoid the airport rental fee. There is a city bus that goes directly Downtown Montreal - practically at the doorstep of many rental car agencies.

Ottawa International Airport

Ottawa is about a two and a half hour drive from Sherbrooke. Those who wish to avoid Montreal traffic may want to consider this as an option. You can take the highway 30 (toll highway) to bypass Montreal and get to the highway 10 straight on to Sherbrooke!

During the summer Bishop's University dorm rooms turn into affordable and comfortable hotel rooms - this isn't like what most of us lived in while students! Close to the chapel where the ceremony is taking place, we have blocked off many different types of rooms for our guests. Please let the hotel know that you are with the Constable-Donaldson Wedding.

For those of you who are feeling fancy, the Ripplecove Inn is an absolutely beautiful hotel located about a 20 minute drive from the ceremony and reception. Fun fact: the bride worked here many moons ago too!
