We don’t have a big list of family & friends traveling to town without a place to stay and therefore do not have a hotel block. We’ve put together a list of local bed and breakfasts below with a variety of price range and located within safer areas of the city. If you want/prefer to book other arrangements not listed we recommend you don’t stay: -Canal St. beyond Carrollton Ave. -Esplanade Ave. between S. Broad & Claiborne near the interstate. We specify because we know there are many air bnb’s within those areas. It can vary from block to block when it comes to safety especially at night. If you found a great deal and you are unsure of the area, just reach out and we can let you know.

Although there’s many big hotels around downtown and the French Quarter, we wanted to suggest one outside of the city, in Metairie, as a more cost friendly option. A ride to downtown is about 20/25 minutes and to Lakeview is 15/20 minutes.
