We’ve planned for a very special night with many of our loved ones & therefore ask if you would please arrive on time-6:30pm in order to give yourself and everyone attending, time to park and settle in and grab a bite until our arrival shortly after. * ‘Schedule’ tab has details for address and time
Well, our original ceremony was March 2025 but due to so many quick life changes and big travel plans for 2024, we decided to limit our stress with planning and go to the court house with our parents, grandparents and closest friends in town, on our 6 year anniversary- July 29, 2024. We’ve decided to dedicate our original chosen date, March 8, 2025, as a reception like celebration so we can all still dance the night away with the rest of our closest loved ones we missed in July and remember it forever.
As many of us probably know, New Orleans weather only seems to get less and less predictable most times of the year. Early March is usually warming up after winter with temperatures in the range of 50s-60s. It also tends to be the start of more rainy days then none. We recommend you check the weather during the week if traveling and plan accordingly with layers and maybe even a rain jacket.
Unfortunately we won’t have set transportation but The Knights of Columbus in Lakeview is located in a family friendly neighborhood along with a parking lot near by. If you plan to let loose, we ask you please find a DD or uber/lyft/ride share as the pricing for them is affordable in this area.
We both have many younger family members whom are not of legal adult age (but almost!) just yet and therefore invited to join us. We please ask if you have a child under the age of 3 or is not named on our RSVP guest list in the RSVP tab above, they please remain home or with a trusted caretaker. Please feel free to reach out to us for any additional clarification.
We are working on our menu currently but can share it will be buffet style spread along with seafood.(duh!) We are mindful of gluten and vegan friendly diets as well as the start of lent that week.
