We've never been here, but hey when's the next time you're going to be in Cooperstown? Seems like a no brainer!
'The Milford Track' - is a spectacular 12 mile round trip (our longest ride yet!). "The Milford Track" journeys through the farm lands and forests alongside of the Susquehanna River. You'll glide past working farms, magnificent woodlands and rumble across historic trestle bridges.
We have a lot of avid bikers headed upstate, so check out this link for some great trails. Pack your bike! Second link that might be helpful: https://www.greatnortherncatskills.com/outdoors/road-cycling-routes
There are a ton of great hiking trails in the area, so click here for more info. The venue itself is a former horse ranch and maintains two trails up the hill if you're interested in heading over during the weekend. It's available Friday-Sunday for us and our guests, so come on over! Full transparency: we were not fully listening during this part of the tour because we were distracted by the view, but contact us if you need more info about the trails.
Sadly, we couldn't get in here for our welcome party, but we very much recommend you make a trip. It's authentic Belgian beer, and it's delicious.
There is a goat yoga class happening about 20 minutes away from Oneonta! 3pm on Sunday, October 16th. Ahh!
It's the fall--make time for apple and pumpkin picking. Have you ever tried to take a pumpkin on a plane? This could be your chance!
This is the view from the hotel. It's right on Main St, with cute shops, restaurants, and galleries steps away from the hotel. We recommend: Shakedown Street (for the Phish fans), Roots Brewing Company, Razzle Dazzle, Green Toad Bookstore, and the local artists gallery at the end of Main St. There is also a bagel shop and two coffee shops super close to the hotel.
Everyone we met in Oneonta recommended this place, and they were right! We went for brunch and had the huevos rancheros and some other delicious breakfast dish with eggs, steak, and bacon. Great good and great service.
