Keaton and Katherine met on Hinge — a small swipe that changed everything. What began as a few exchanged messages quickly turned into plans for a Thursday night date at The Boardwalk Restaurant along The Wharf in DC. It was a great date, and one could say it was even too short (like 5'8). Both knew they had to see one another again as soon as possible. From there, their story began to unfold like chapters in a book, some grand and full of adventure, others quiet and intimate. They wandered the marbled halls of the Library of Congress, tracing history and dreaming of the future — a place that would later become the setting of their engagement. They shared countless evenings at DC’s theaters, clinking glasses at happy hours, stumbling upon treasure at estate sales, and building a life that excited them. Through each season and every small moment in between, their story deepened, built on shared aspirations, humor, and love.
