Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint

Keara's favorite spot for a casual bite! Enjoy a wide variety of beers, burgers, and fried Oreos! Keara recommends The Elvis- featuring a smashburger topped with peanut butter!

Martin's Downtown

Jokubas's favorite downtown dinner spot- often featuring trivia, music bingo, and late-night music. The Soul Rolls are a must-have appetizer!

Texas Tavern

114 Church Avenue Southwest, Roanoke, VA 24011

Originally built in 1930 to serve the nearby railroad workers, Texas Tavern is hands down the most iconic restaurant in Roanoke. Featuring only 10 barstools, this local spot has a limited menu consisting of hot dogs, hamburgers, and chili. If you want to speak the local lingo, be sure to follow the link below.

Blue Cow Ice Cream

Keara and Jokubas's favorite spot for a homemade scoop. Try a local flavor such as Goat Cheese with Blueberry Swirl, or the fan-favorite Blue Cow Patty. All can be enjoyed along the Roanoke River!

Mill Mountain Star

The Roanoke Star, also known as the Mill Mountain Star, is the world's largest freestanding illuminated man-made star. Take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway or hike your way to the top. Beautiful both during the day and at night- you can also find our local zoo nearby!

Home of the infamous "Salvage Dogs" TV show that's aired on HGTV, DIY, Discovery, and more! Also, the source of many thrift flips featured in Keara and Jokubas's home.
