Phantom Lake Ranch is near the village of Red Feather Lakes, which sits above 8,000 feet of elevation northwest of Denver. Brandon, Katie, and Tiernan love hiking in the surrounding Roosevelt National Forest, and they can't wait to share this mountain getaway with you. If you're coming from sea level, remember to drink plenty of water (alcohol also hits harder here) and wear sunscreen—there's less atmosphere between those UV rays and you. Contact Katie or Brandon if you're interested in organizing/joining a carpool to get to the ranch or a shared rental house in Red Feather Lakes for the weekend. We'll connect interested parties.

Getting Here

It takes about two hours to drive from Denver International Airport to Red Feather Lakes (Google Maps directions in the "View" link below). We promise the trek is worth it.

Spend the weekend with us at Phantom Lake Ranch (Friday & Saturday night). We'll stock the fridges, and we'll check with you to make sure we have all the staples. Contact Katie/Brandon for details if you're interested.

There are camping spots onsite if you need a place to crash Saturday night. Let us know if you want to borrow camping gear. The venue will ask you for $20 for each tent site.

Red Feather Lakes

There are plenty of places to stay in Red Feather Lakes that are just a few minutes away from Phantom Lake Ranch, especially through Airbnb/VRBO. There's a general store in the village and a restaurant or two, but we still suggest buying groceries and supplies in Fort Collins before you get into the mountains.
