Things To Do

Haleʻiwa Aliʻi Beach Park

62-449 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712

This is where Kona and Kaylen's love story began. They used to have paddling practice on this very beach, and the rest, as they say, is history. It's a beautiful beach for swimming, enjoying some good food not too far down the road, and watching the sunset.

Jackie's Diner

98-020 Kamehameha Highway, Aiea, HI 96701

This is one of Kona and Kaylen's favorite restaurants. A fun fact is that Kona's mom would always eat here when she was pregnant with him. When they dine here, they always order a spicy pastele plate with a double bacalao salad.

Ice Palace Hawaii

4510 Salt Lake Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96818

When Kaylen was little, she took ice skating lessons until middle school. When Kona found out that Kaylen used to ice skate, he became interested in the sport. Not long after, Kona bought himself a pair of hockey skates so he could go with Kaylen. Ever since, when they want to go on an active date, Kona and Kaylen always think of Ice Palace!

Waikiki Fireworks Watch

2161 Kālia Road, Honolulu, HI 96815

On Fridays, Kona and Kaylen often watch the fireworks in Waikiki with their families. After the fireworks, they often walk the strip and find a place to eat at the many restaurants nearby!

1938 Indochine

602 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96813

For a more special occasion, this is the restaurant Kona and Kaylen choose. Kona took Kaylen here on a date when he heard about it from his friend. They both love the ambiance and the food. Since the restaurant is located in Kaka'ako, you can also walk around and admire all of the art in the city!

White Plains Beach

White Plains Beach, Ewa Beach, HI 96706

This is where Kaylen first learned to surf in elementary school and where she would surf with her family! Whenever they would go, they would set up a tent, BBQ, or play volleyball at the court! This beach is also not too far away from Kapolei which is filled with many restaurants to enjoy after your beach day!

Storto's Deli & Sandwich Shop

66-215 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa, HI 96712

If you plan to go on a beach in the North Shore, we highly recommend stopping by Stortos first! Kaylen's family stops here for their beach lunch and her usual order is Jokos, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, with double papaya seed dressing!
