Nearlywed
I'm getting married!! I'm so excited to be marrying the best person in the world in front of everyone important in our lives. I can honestly say that Kayleigh makes my life so much better in so many ways, from introducing me to oat milk hot chocolates at Starbucks to teaching me all the words to the Eagles fight song (Go Birds!)! I love reading, crocheting, playing with our three cats, and watching prestige television that Kayleigh can't stand.
Bride
I’m the bride-to-be! I’m so excited to be marrying my best friend in front of all of our friends and family. Summer and I have three cats together (Holtby, Claude, and Georgie) and live in Arlington. Here we go on little excursions (mostly to Target) and enjoy little treats (Starbucks). I love dancing, sewing, cross stitching, gardening, and other creative hobbies. I hope that everyone has a great time at our wedding!
Captain of Team Summer
As the person who's known Summer the longest, I'm honored to be serving as team captain for her wedding party. I always have said that my life truly began the day Summer was born. Yes, I had already been alive for almost two years at that point, but I had only been surviving, not living. When not twiddling my thumbs, waiting for Summer to talk to me, I teaching Preschool to students learning English and hang out with my dog-son, Badger. Ask me about his love for street shrimp when you see me at the wedding!
Captain of Team Kayleigh
My name is Cat Scott, and I’m honored to be the maid of honor for my favorite sister, Kayleigh—#teamKayleighforlife! Growing up just down the hall from each other in Haddon Township, NJ, I’ve known her since I popped out of the womb. We danced together, went to camp together, and took part in theater, creating countless memories throughout our childhood. I graduated from Lafayette College, in May of 2024, with a BS in Engineering and then took a leap into adventure by joining the Disney College Program for nine months. Kayleigh and Summer were especially excited because it gave them an excuse to visit Disney! I’m thrilled to celebrate this special occasion with both Kayleigh and Summer!
Team Summer
My name is Katie! I have been friends with Summer since 4th grade. I was known for always eating the snacks from Summer's house and heading to the library every lunch period to be a library aid with her. I currently work at a family owned cafe in Arlington, VA and have my own pottery business.
Team Kayleigh
I met Kale freshman year at Muhlenberg and we have been besties ever since. Sophomore year we joined Phi Mu, and met Summer who became my big. From weekly Pham dinners to trips to Menchie’s, this trio were together all the time. Post graduation, now with 200 miles us them instead of 200 feet, Kale and I still make the time to video chat with each other every week. I love to bake, read, and have movie nights with friends. I am thrilled to be a part of Kayleigh and Summer’s special day!
Team Kayleigh
My name is CarolAnn Miller. I’m 25, but I’ll be 27 by the time the wedding rolls around. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, but now live in Mifflinburg, PA. I’ve known Kayleigh (GO TEAM KALE!) since 2016 and we’ve been through a lot together since then. I’ve been lucky enough to get the chance to live with her our senior year, and be her friend over the past 8 years. We have managed to keep a strong friendship even as I’ve lived in Ireland for 2 years for my MA in Music Therapy, and our junior year where we went abroad different semesters. Kayleigh has always been a constant since meeting her freshman year and I’m so glad I have her, especially when she comes out to Mifflinburg and joins me at the Buggy Museum Gala (bringing Summer along most recently!). I can’t wait to be a part of Summer and Kayleigh’s special day!
Team Summer
I met Summer my junior year of college. After multiple three hour conversations I knew that I needed Summer to be in my life. From being housemates and Thursday night froyo dates to weekend visits in multiple cities I am so lucky to have Summer still in my life.
Team Kayleigh
Hello, my name is Shira and I’m honored to be on Team Kayleigh! I was born and raised in Chicago, where I live now, but I was lucky enough to meet Kayleigh on my little college detour to Allentown and become friends with her after joining Phi Mu (LIOB!). Whether it was enthusiastically discussing psychology research projects, late nights hanging at the sorority house, ritual Wednesday nights at the Tav for dollar slice night, painting her childhood bedroom, or just general shenanigans, hanging out with Kayleigh is always a blast and I’m honored that one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and dedicated people I know is so deeply rooted in my life. My favorite memory of Summer and Kayleigh together was a memorable lunch in the dining hall where Kayleigh put together a PowerPoint going in depth to describe every American president, including plenty of fun facts- and I can’t wait to tell them more historical fun facts on their big day!
Team Summer
Summer and I met during sophomore year of college at Muhlenberg and it was best friends at first sight. We spent many, many days, afternoons, and nights laughing, studying, munching, and cheering each other on during our college years. These day, I spend my time working in broadcast, coaching high school cheer (Go Cavs!), and catching up with Summer over the phone!
Team Summer
Me and Summer met our junior years of college when we found ourselves co-captains of the Muhlenberg Cheerleading Team. We immediately bonded over our love of a good time, delicious food, and always committing to the bit. It was amazing to have Summer stand my by side during my wedding in September of 2024 and I'm so excited to do the same for her now! When not jetting around the world, I spend my time in NYC with my husband, Dan, our beautiful and mischievous dog, Whiskey, and my favorite snack, flaming hot cheetohs.
Team Kayleigh
Hi! My name is Julie and though I am lucky to be friends with both Kayleigh and Summer, I am on Team Kayleigh. Kayleigh & I met on our first day at Muhlenberg in 2016. My version of how we met goes that while making small talk in our orientation group, someone asked us where we lived and we both said South Jersey. At the time my parents were in the process of moving from one town to another and all I knew about the place was that it was connected to a vet’s office. I’ll never forget how Kayleigh’s face lit up as she said “THAT’S MY CAT’S VET, YOU’RE MOVING RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM ME!” Little did I know exactly how true that would be… one day, while stopped at a red light, my mom looked over and said “I think someone is trying to get your attention.” I turned and saw Kayleigh waving from the next car over. That’s one of the things that makes our friendship so special: we had each other all year round. At school not only were we roommates, but we were involved in a lot of the same activities too. And at home, Kayleigh was someone I got to see regularly, to play Sims, grab a meal, or chill in the park. Despite not living as close to each other as we once did, we’ve remained close through virtual movie nights, beach days, and shared interests. By the time of the wedding, it’s crazy to think we’ve been friends for almost a decade. I currently live and work in Philadelphia with my partner Sean; so if you need any wedding weekend activity or food recommendations let me know!
