January is a busy time of year, so we recommend booking hotels and flights as soon as possible. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.
We kindly ask guests to arrive in Costa Rica by Thursday morning/early afternoon as the Welcome Party begins at 4pm. There will be an hour and twenty-minute drive from the airport to Las Catalinas.
Costa Rica has a moderate tropical climate with average temperatures in the mid-80s in January. January is considered the dry season with warm, breezy and sunny days with little to no rain. The welcome party and wedding ceremony will take place outdoors.
Most of the streets in Las Catalinas are pedestrian-only, and you can walk from one side of town to the other in about 10 minutes. The town is perched on a hillside, so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and leaving your high heels at home for this trip.
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.
Although we love kiddos, this weekend is reserved for adults only.
A valid U.S. passport is required for entry into the country. Your passport must be valid for at least 60 days after your arrival date.
Costa Rica’s local currency is the colón. All vendors in Las Catalinas accept payment by credit card, debit card, coolones, U.S. dollars and room charges. The vast majority of vendors in Guanacaste area accept most international credit cards, colones or U.S. dollars.
