Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is a main east-coast hub for American Airlines, and there should be plenty of flight options available on both Friday and Sunday. The airport is about a 45-minute drive from our venue, and only 15 minutes away from the heart of Charlotte (check out our Things To Do tab!). Rental cars are strongly recommended to get to the hotel blocks, although ride shares are available. If you are planning to attend our Welcome Reception on Friday evening, please note the location in the Southpark neighborhood, Charlotte.

Shuttle From Hotel Blocks to Venue
June 8, 2024 3:30 pm - 11:15 pm
We will have one complimentary large coach bus, operated by Rose Chauffeured Transportation. Look for the sign for "WEINSTEIN WYDRA WEDDING." The bus is first-come-first-serve, and will stop at both hotels as scheduled below: 3:30 pm - pickup at Homewood Suites Davidson (load-in and depart by 3:45 pm) 4:00 pm - pickup at Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville 4:30 pm - drop off at venue 10:30 pm - pickup from venue 11:00 pm - drop off at Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville 11:15 pm - drop off at Homewood Suites Davidson

Parking at Venue
There is plenty of complimentary attended parking available at Fields at Skycrest. Cars can be left at the venue overnight until 11:00 am the following morning. Although the venue is rural, ride-shares (Uber & Lyft) are available.

House Rentals
AirBnb and VRBO have plenty of options in the areas surrounding Charlotte and Lake Norman. There are many beautiful waterfront homes available to rent for the long weekend in the towns of Cornelius, Mooresville, and Davidson-- only a stone's throw away from our venue, Fields at Skycrest. If interested, book early! Summers on the lake are in high demand. There is plenty of staff-attended parking available at the venue. Keep in mind, shuttles will only be going back and forth from the hotel blocks to the venue.
