If you want a phenomenal meal, craft cocktails, or a relaxed brunch without leaving the property, Lido offers incredible oceanfront patio dining. The Steaming Bean: About a 10 minute walk from our venue. A local coffee shop offering coffee, pastries, and casual morning bites. Old West Cinnamon Rolls: You can't visit Pismo without getting a warm, fresh cinnamon roll from this legendary spot downtown. Wooly's Beach Bar & Grill: If you want something super casual right on the boardwalk, head here for a burger, fish tacos, and a cold beer on their open-air deck. Scout Coffee Co. (San Luis Obispo): If you take a drive slightly north into SLO for this beautiful artisan coffee shop with house-roasted beans and handmade syrups.
Scenic Hikes & Coastal Walks
The Pismo Preserve: Located just minutes from the venue, this area features gorgeous panoramic ocean views. Try the Discovery Loop Trail for a steady but rewarding hike through the hills. Shell Beach Bluffs & Ontario Ridge Trail: If you want something closer to the water, this trail offers dramatic cliffside views right over the Pacific. Bob Jones Trail (Avila Beach): A beautifully shaded, flat, paved 5-mile round-trip path that winds along a creek and ends right at the Avila Beach beachfront.
Wine Tasting in Edna Valley
Just a short, scenic 15-minute drive from the resort lies Edna Valley, home to some of our favorite Central Coast wines. Chamisal Vineyards: Gorgeous estate views and a beautiful outdoor patio. Biddle Ranch Vineyard: Offers a chic, modern farmhouse vibe with fantastic small-batch estate wines. Perfect for groups. Baileyana: Housed in a historic, cozy old schoolhouse. They offer a huge variety of flights and have a great lawn space.
