Their story starts abroad. It's December 2013 and Kayla is in Ghana, West Africa for the first time. Her college mate, Felix, invited mutual friends and her to spend the Christmas holiday with him and his family in Kumasi, Ghana. This was an offer specifically she couldn't refuse. Kayla was enjoying her time as she explored, partied, and absorbed the Ghanaian culture. 5 days before their departure they visited Cape Coast, before traveling to Accra with only 3 days left in their stay. Kayla had no idea she was going to be meeting her future husband later that day. This one particular group gathering at their hotel with Felix's friends was the beginning of Nathaniel and Kayla's love story. Completely unaware of what was to come, a simple introduction sparked interest. Something just clicked between the two! After 3 months of getting to know each other they thought, "Okay. This could be something foreal." Fast forward 7 years, a mutually loving and enjoyable relationship later has wound them up here. They are immensely in love with each other! No matter the natural trials of relationships, plus the added strain of distance. Their bond, trust, and admiration for each other blossomed! Nat and Kay, as they refer to each other as, take comfort in being with the person intended for them!
