FAQs

If you have any questions or needs outside of what is listed here, please be sure to send us an email! You can reach Kayla at kaylaestraub@gmail.com. Billy probably won't know the answer, so this is your best bet.
Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Zola, Amazon & Target, and are doing a Dream Fund through Zola to help fund our anniversary honeymoon. Feel free to check out the "Registry" tab above! Don't worry about bringing gifts down to Hartsburg. Save yourself the hassle by easily shipping any gifts to our home via our registry!

Question

What's happening Friday night?

Answer

We will be posting up at The Hitching Post at 8 pm, located at 30 N 2nd St, Hartsburg, MO. We will play pool, eat microwavable pizzas, and try to blend in with the locals. Dress is camo-casual. PLEASE DRIVE SAFE! The roads are very winding AND there are no Ubers out in these neck of the woods. Let's not get too rowdy, ya hear?

Question

What do I need to pack to do this "camping" thing?

Answer

We will have tents already set up for sharing, but we'd recommend bringing the following stuff: - Sleeping Bag - Pillow - Flashlight - WARM CLOTHES! Warm socks, a hat, sweatpants & flannels, and waterproof shoes & a raincoat just in case! - Camping Mat (recommended, $20 on Amazon) or an Air Mattress (as long as you're cool sharing with a friend because the tents won't be able to fit multiple mattresses) The tents will all be about 25 yards from the main house & bathrooms, so you don't have to poop in a hole or anything. If camping isn't your thing whatsoever, be sure to check out our travel page for hotel options.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please see the "Day of Plans" for a full schedule for the day. We would love our guests to be here, ready to party, at 3:30 pm.

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

Be sure to have the address in your GPS (Listed on the invitation & "Day of Plans" page)! Drive slow & cautiously, keeping an eye out for animals crossing the street. Carpooling with others is HIGHLY recommended. CAUTION ON ALL LEFT TURNS! Make sure you can see who is coming from the other direction before you turn. The turn onto Cedar Tree Lane off of Route M is a HUGE, DANGEROUS blindspot, and we want everyone to be safe on their way to our celebration! We will have signs posted near the turn & near the driveway so you'll be sure where to go. If you hit gravel, you went too far! Turn around and look for the blue house on the North side of the road.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

When you pull into the driveway, you will a pole barn with a gravel driveway immediately to the left. We ask cars to stay up by the barn so that they won't show up in our pictures. If you are NOT staying the night, follow the sign on where to park specifically so that you don't get blocked in by others.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

On a scale of 1, being sweatpants, to 10, being tuxedos, shoot for a 6.5. We want you to feel good and look great for our ceremony! We will all have the opportunity to change into comfy camping attire after dinner. Ladies, we recommend flat shoes or something with a short wedge heel. The yard has lots of hills and the ground might be soft.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The long answer is we are excited to share this day with just our immediate families and closest friends. The short answer is sorry, no dates. Also, while we are at it, sorry, no kids. Love you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have a ton of vegetarian options, including some vegan options. Please reach out to kaylaestraub@gmail.com with other requests!
