Over a short amount of time after meeting, Karol and Kayce were already sharing open and vulnerable conversations with each other which led to a close friendship. Kayce deeply appreciates Karol's easy going nature, creativity, and pure heart.
Jeremiah Goulett

Santa Cruz, CA David met Jeremiah and his wife Marisol in 2015, shortly after he moved to California. They bonded over numerous late night adventures, trips, beer runs, and backyard BBQs. Jeremiah is simultaneously a motorcycle riding, party stoking man's man, and the sweetest, most empathetic person you can imagine. David is honored to have him as his best man.

San Jose, CA Kayce has known Patty for close to 7 years. Kayce loves Patty's thoughtfulness, memory recollection, and witty sense of humor. When Kayce and Patty hang out, they have a blast dancing together and laughing at inside jokes. Patty has been such a wonderful friend, and Kayce is lucky to know her.
Jonathan Horn

Rochester, NY David and Jonathan crossed paths via mutual friends in 2009, when he lived in New York state. Shortly thereafter, Jonathan got a job at the same company as David, and moved to a nearby neighborhood. They became great buddies, getting together for morning coffees at Wegmans, Saturday morning trips to the farmer's market, festivals, and concerts. Over time, they merged friend groups and organized regular fun social gatherings until David departed for California in 2014. Jonathan is a loyal, fun, and genuine lifelong friend, and David is stoked that they will be able to attend each other's weddings.

Santa Cruz, CA Kayce and Marisol were introduced by David, who had been friends with her and her husband for years before meeting Kayce. Marisol and Jeremiah have been amazing friends over the years to Kayce and David, always willing to share their love, energy, and time. Kayce admires Marisol's empathy, loyalty, and generosity.
Thomas Butler

San Jose, CA David and Tom met through their running group, and built a friendship on mutual respect and understanding. They both share a love for outdoor activities, a desire for a drama-free social scene, and an appreciation of a minimalist lifestyle. While Tom is a few years David's senior, David often finds himself trying to keep up with Tom in various pursuits. David has taken to using Tom as an emergency contact.

San Jose, CA Kayce has known Rachel for a few years from their running group. In the last year they have gotten closer as friends and spend time together “Moore” often. :P As a good listener and wise friend, Rachel is someone Kayce trusts to give good advice or be there when times get tough. Kayce admires Rachel’s creativity, quick wit, and compassion.
Ben Bodner

San Jose, CA Ben and David met in Rochester, NY roughly a decade ago and connected through their shared social circles, activities, and the fact that they were both RIT alumni. Ben moved to California a couple years after David, and David was very excited to have an old friend in the area. Ben is one of the only people David has been able to maintain close ties with though a cross-country move and the various phases of young adulthood. David appreciates Ben's can-do attitude, calm demeanor, boyish laugh, and nerdy tendencies.
Christie Ivanstrom

Portland, OR Kayce and Christie were introduced by David, after many years of friendship with her and her husband Tim. The 4 of them share a lot of common interests (nature, hiking, running, beer, and food) and always have so much fun together. Christie is someone Kayce truly admires and respects. Kayce appreciates her kindness, resiliency, and adventurous spirit.
Tim Ivanstrom

Portland, OR While he lived nearby to Tim and Christie in New York State, David really hit it off with them when they moved to California (twice!). Tim is an inspiration, as he is intelligent, down-to-earth, and incredibly tough, but also extremely playful and never shies away from doing something weird and funny. David is happy to have shared so many good memories with Tim, from doing a nice trail run, tacos, and beer, to crashing a wedding reception, to doing push-ups in the wilderness while backpacking over a mountain pass.
