FAQs

Question

Will there be cell reception at the wedding location?

Answer

No! This is a remote location, so cell service and data coverage will not be available. We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience. Walkie talkies might be useful if you need to coordinate with anyone specific at the wedding.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is available down at the Mono Hot Springs Resort. The pre-ceremony lunch will be held there. When it's time to go to the ceremony, we are hoping to have a few volunteers to shuttle guests with their vehicles to the ceremony and after party location on Kaiser Pass Road. There will also be enough parking if any guests would prefer to take their own vehicle.

Question

Will there be bathrooms at the ceremony/after party location?

Answer

Yes. We are having a two stall bathroom trailer delivered, which should have flushing toilets and running water.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limitations on the wedding location we have already reduced our invitation list significantly. Therefore, we can't accommodate additional people to the wedding unless it was explicitly on the invitation. Please ask us first if you are thinking of bringing a date, and we can let you know if that's okay.

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

We would like this to be a classy event but we realize that this will be outdoors in a natural environment, so we ask that our guests wear what we will call “dressy casual” attire. We recommend that ladies do not wear heels as the terrain could be uneven. There may also be dirt/dust so closed toe shoes are also recommended. Please, no sports attire! If you have any specific questions, reach out to us!

Question

What should I pack if I am camping or staying in a cabin with no kitchen?

Answer

REI has a pretty comprehensive list on their website for camping: https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/family-camping-checklist.html You won't need everything on the list, but use your best judgement. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
