Newport is very busy, even in September. Book travel far enough in advance to have the best options. Generally speaking, hotels in Newport will have higher nightly rates - consider staying in Middletown which still offers easy access to Newport and Kay and Tyler's venue, but at lower rates. Here are some of our favorite hotels in the area.

Hotel

Hampton Inn & Suites Newport/Middletown

317 West Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842

$$ - The Hampton Inn in Middletown is very accommodating and within 10-15 minutes of our venue, downtown Newport and the Middletown/Newport Beaches.

Hotel

Homewood Suites by Hilton Newport/Middletown

348 West Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842

$$ - Practically across the street from the Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites is great for longer stays and offers a small living/kitchen space. 10-15 minutes from venue and Newport destinations.

Hotel

Holiday Inn Express Newport North-Middletown

855 West Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842

$$ - Very affordable, conveniently located off West Main Road, roughly 15 minutes from venue and downtown Newport.

Hotel

Atlantic Beach Hotel and Suites

28 Aquidneck Ave, Middletown, RI 02842

$$$ - Rates fluctuate, but Atlantic Beach Hotel is right next to Easton's beach and a two minute drive from the Middletown beaches. 5-10 minute drive to the venue and while they have a newer building, they also have suites in the main building that are historic and feel more like a B&B.

Hotel

Newport Marriott

25 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840

$$$$ - The Marriott rates tend to run higher in the summer and through early fall, but it is located right on Newport Harbor and has the most convenient access to Newport Downtown. Est 5-10 minutes to the venue.

Hotel

Hotel Viking

1 Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI 02840

$$$$ - Hotel Viking rates can run high at certain times of the year, but it is one of the most historic hotels in Newport. Centrally located on Bellevue Ave, it was where Kay stayed the first time she visited Newport. The hotel itself has been around since 1926 and still maintains its Guilded Age charm.
