Leaving/arriving on a jet plane? If you're traveling from south Florida, we suggest looking into Stewart International Airport. There are direct flights from Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, it's about 40 minutes from Cedar Lakes, and it's a public/military airport which often (hopefully) means fewer delays. If flying into Stewart is not an option, we suggest Newark or LaGuardia airport if your plan is to go straight to Cedar Lakes Estate and the surrounding area.

Trains

All aboard the hot mess express! New Jersey Transit trains are an option from Penn Station to the Hudson Valley. If you're staying at Cedar Lakes Estate or the Hotel Fauchere, we suggest taking the train from Penn Station to Port Jervis train station with a transfer in Secaucus. The Port Jervis train station is approximately 15 minutes away from both Cedar Lakes and Hotel Fauchere. If you're staying at the Hampton Inn Middletown or the Courtyard Marriott Middletown, we suggest taking the train from Penn Station to Middletown train station via the Port Jervis line with a transfer in Secaucus. The Middletown train station is approximately 10 minutes away from both hotels. Regardless of your destination, we recommend that you book a taxi in advance to pick you up from the station as Uber is new in the area, and wait times for these taxis are long. Cedar Lakes Estate is just under 2 hours by car from New York City. There will be plenty of parking available the entire weekend. Ubers from the city normally cost about $200 for uberX and about $300 for uberXL. Bus

You may also take a bus from the Port Authority directly to the Hudson Valley (no transfer necessary). If you're staying at Cedar Lakes Estate, we suggest taking the bus to Port Jervis, NY. If you're staying at the Hampton Inn Middletown or the Courtyard Marriott Middletown, we suggest taking the bus to Middletown, NY. If you're staying at the Hotel Fauchere, we suggest taking the bus to Milford, PA (specifically to the Frisky Goat restaurant at 611 Broad Street). Regardless of your destination, we recommend that you book a taxi in advance to pick you up from the station as Uber is new in the area, and wait times for these taxis are long. Glenmere Mansion is a high-end luxury boutique hotel located about 30 minutes from Cedar Lakes Estate. There will not be transportation provided from this hotel, so please plan accordingly if you wish to stay here.

Part of what we love most about Cedar Lakes is that our guests may stay onsite all weekend! As Cedar Lakes was once a summer camp, the available onsite accommodations have more of a camp-feel and are bunk-style shared camper cabins.
