Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

"Lakeside Gala" is our way of saying Black-Tie optional. Women should be in long dresses (think Met Gala meets Vogue) and men should just try to keep up in suits or tuxes. As long as you look sharp, don't stress out about it too much. Be mindful of your footwear as some aspects of the evening will require walking on grass.

Question

Will there be bus shuttles to the wedding?

Answer

There will be bus shuttles leaving from the Hampton Inn Middletown / Courtyard by Marriott Middletown promptly at 5:15pm on Saturday. There will be return buses from Cedar Lakes Estate to the hotels every half an hour starting at 10:30pm and ending at 2:30am.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

If you know anything about Sarah, she has likely already made a packing list in her Moleskinne notebook. Our guests are welcome to enjoy all that Cedar Lakes Estate has to offer all weekend, including tennis, kickball, softball, basketball, boating, a 20-person paddle board, swimming (two lakes or two heated pools), the "blob," biking, and lawn games. The vast majority of equipment is provided by the venue, but depending on how you would like to spend the day, you may want to bring any of the following: Swimsuit Beach towel Sunscreen Athletic gear Sneakers

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

When hailing a yellow taxi fails, try some of these hot tips, depending on where you're staying: Cedar Lakes Estate: If you are staying onsite all weekend, no need to worry! All events will be taking place right under your nose. Although the property is large, it is very easy to navigate and all event locations are just a couple minutes walk apart. Hampton Inn Middletown, Courtyard Marriot Middletown & Hotel Fauchere: Transportation will be provided to and from these hotels for the wedding ceremony and the reception. More information will be provided upon your arrival. Other accommodations: If you are staying in any other accommodations, please plan transportation as needed. Cedar Lakes has plenty of parking onsite, and local taxi company information is provided below.

Question

Does Port Jervis have Ubers?

Answer

These boots were made for Uber! As mentioned previously, Ubers are new in the area, so it's hard to predict how prevalent they'll be this summer. Below please find local cab company information. We recommend calling them at least half an hour in advance of when you would like to be picked up. JL Dispatching Taxi Service: (845) 856-3544 Milford Tri-state Taxi: (845) 856-8294 D A D S Taxi and Limo: (973) 579-4807 Black Bear Car Service: (570) 491-2327 Port Jervis Taxi: (845) 856-9191
