Question

What do I do with my flight?

Answer

We’ve researched the most common airlines to give you a start, but definitely reach out to your airline! Due to the declaration of a national emergency and travel bans in place, flights should be largely reschedulable. You can either take a fun trip later this year, or reschedule it for the weekend of February 20, 2021. -Delta -https://www.delta.com/us/en/advisories/other-alerts/coronavirus-travel-updates -United - https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly/travel/notices.html#ChangeFeeTerms -American - https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/travel-alerts.jsp -Southwest - https://www.southwest.com/Coronavirus/?clk=CORONAVIRUS_TA -Spirit - https://customersupport.spirit.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006469277-What-is-Spirit-doing-to-address-concerns-about-COVID-19-coronavirus-

Question

What do I do with the hotel reservation?

Answer

Good news! If you have already booked a room at Tru by Hilton Cypress, the hotel will move the entire block of rooms to the weekend of February 20 for us (this is being requested Tuesday, 3/17). The bad news is that they didn’t have everyone tagged correctly to be listed in the block. We did what we could, but to be safe, please call them and see if you’re properly tagged in our Stearns/Williamson wedding block for the weekend of April 4, and confirm that they’ve moved you to the weekend of February 20.

Question

Do I need to RSVP again?

Answer

Yes please. We plan on resending invitations closer to the date, so don’t worry about making or finalizing your plans immediately - we don’t expect you to RSVP with complete certainty for a date 10 months from now! If you previously were unable to attend, of course you’re welcome if you’re able to make it in February! In the meantime, if your address has changed/is going to change, please let us know. The website’s RSVP feature has been reset, and you’re welcome to RSVP anytime. New deadline will be January 23, 2021.

Question

Tell me more about the Upcoming Livestreamed Ceremony

Answer

In an effort to reduce risk for family members, Thomas and Katy are going to tie the knot at a small, immediate-family-only ceremony as soon as it is safe for us to do so. We welcome all our guests to watch the livestream, the link for which we will send out the week of the ceremony. If you watch, please take a picture of yourself or your group doing so and send it to us for a guestbook.

Question

What about your honeymoon?

Answer

We are so grateful for your contributions to our honeymoon. Everything is booked, and we have not yet been able to rip the band-aid off and cancel it. The trip to Italy and Greece is scheduled May 13 - 31, and we will make a decision after the wedding depending on the situation then. We will travel for our honeymoon eventually, and any gift for the honeymoon will be allocated as such.

Question

But we gave you a gift!

Answer

If you feel so inclined, gifts already given can be cancelled by contacting Zola. Of course, we in no way expect a second gift, and thank you notes will be sent for ones already received!
