We are delighted to celebrate our wedding on the island of Paros, with our ceremony at the charming St. Fokas Chapel, and our reception at Villa Aethra, an estate just 10 minutes from Parikia, the island’s main port town. Paros has become such a special place to us, and we can’t wait to share its beauty and laid-back charm with the people we love. Below you’ll find everything you need to plan your trip. Getting to Paros: Most guests will fly into Athens International Airport (ATH). From Athens, you can reach Paros either by a short domestic flight or by ferry. By Plane: Paros has a small airport (PAS) with daily flights from Athens. The flight is about 35 minutes, making it the quickest and easiest way to arrive. Because July is peak travel season, we recommend booking flights early. By Ferry: High-speed ferries operate from Athens’ Port of Piraeus to Paros several times a day. The ride is typically 3–4 hours, depending on the ferry. If you’re staying in Athens beforehand or prefer a scenic route, this can be a lovely option. Ferry tickets also book up quickly in summer, so planning ahead is recommended. Getting Around the Island: Taxis and buses are available, and many hotels and villas can also help arrange transfers from the port or airport. If you are staying outside of Parikia or Naoussa (very walkable towns), we recommend renting a car. Where to Stay: Paros has a variety of hotels and villas, especially in Naoussa and Parikia. Since July is a popular time to visit, we suggest booking accommodations early. We have shared below our recommended boutique hotels, villas, and suites available on the island. Please note in addition to the below, there are several airbnb's available if preferred as well. Weather: Expect warm, sunny days (80s°F) and breezy evenings. Light clothing, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes for exploring are all great to pack.
